Last January 26th was the first anniversary of the death of Kobe Bryant in the fatal helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, in which the second of his daughters, Gianna, also lost her life.
The basketball player’s widow, Vanessa, and her three other daughters, Natalia, Bianca and Capri, have navigated the best they could through a very tough year, marked by the absence of the figure of Kobe, family conflicts (the player’s mother-in-law sued her daughter), and the coronavirus pandemic.
But little by little, the Bryants look to the future with optimism again. And the oldest of the girls, Natalia, the first movement of what looks to become a promising professional career has just closed these days: The 18-year-old has been booked by the IMG modeling agency, as the company itself announced yesterday.
Natalia shared the good news on her personal Instagram profile, posting a nice black and white studio photo of her along with the following statement: “I have been interested in fashion since I was very young. I love the industry and since I can remember I have wanted to be a model. I have a lot to learn but I feel like this is a great opportunity to learn and express myself creatively.” Vanessa, for her part, did not hesitate to congratulate her first-born, assuring that she was “very proud” of her.
The senior vice president of the agency, Maja Chiesi, spoke about the signing of the young woman with very warm words: “Natalie has a bright future ahead of her. We are honored to partner with her to shape her career in the world of fashion and beauty, and we can’t wait to connect you with fresh and exciting opportunities to showcase his multifaceted personality and looks.”
