Intel NUC M15
Intel seems excited to expand its NUC system line. As is known, currently Intel has several products under the ecosystem which stands for the Next Unit of Computing.
This time, Intel is taking a pretty bold step by launching a blueprint for the latest laptop reference design, which its partners can use. Intel calls its newest line of laptops the NUC M15.
This design is intended for small laptop vendors to compete with leading technology companies. Engadget (20/11) reports that this laptop will have a price range of Rp. 14 million to Rp. 21 million.
Vendors are asked to include 11th generation Core i5-1135G7 or i7-1165G7 processors with Iris Xe integrated graphics and must use a standard 1080p IPS screen or 15.6-inch touch screen.
The RAM configuration is also required to be 8GB or 16GB, with a 73 watt-hour battery that can accommodate 16 hours of use on a single charge. Additionally, dual thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 Type-C and WiFi 6 are also standard.
A pair of ports USB-A 10Gbps, port HDMI, and a headphone jack 3.5 mm also become standard. Its weight will be around 1.6 Kg by 0.59 inches thick. The M15 has four built-in microphones that can detect your voice from across the room, and a Windows Hello compatible laptop webcam .
Unfortunately, until now it is still unknown which vendors are interested in using this design. It is still not known when this NUC M15 laptop can be purchased by users.
