The leakage of fuel subsidies has so far reached 20 percent of the total budget of Rp. 15 trillion. Subsidized fuel is still widely used by wealthy people and thousands of tonnes of industry players.

“Conditions shouldn’t be like that. That’s why we encourage it not to leak, with efforts to improve the capacity of BPH Migas field officers,” said Ridwan Hisjam (RH), a member of Commission VII DPR RI on the sidelines of the signing of MoU BPH Migas and PT Pindad (Persero) in Turen, Malang Regency, reported by globelivemedia.com

He explained that the form of self-security for BPH Migas who performs tasks in the field is very important. This is related to the possibility that bad will happen. “Because it concerns self-security and it is the duty of safeguarding BPH Migas,” he said.

Commission VII strongly supports BPH Migas in cooperation with PT Pindad (Persero). PT Pindad so that the industry develops rapidly and has a target of 2024. APBN funds must be energized with PT Pindad, especially with LPG cylinders.
