Member of KPUD Samarinda, Muhammad Najib, said that the quiz competition took the theme Pilkada Samarinda, with questions related to the vision and mission to build Samarinda.
“The segmentation of this competition also focuses on young people, especially those who already have the right to vote, starting from 17-22 years of age, and are held online due to pandemic conditions to avoid crowds,” he said in Samarinda, Tuesday.
Besides having to be 17-22 years old, participants must also include an electronic card or other identity with a status as Samarinda residents as evidenced by personal identity.
Then, participants are required to register as a group consisting of 2 people. Each registered group must have a group name. And each group is free to choose its partner from anywhere. No need to come from the same school or campus.
Online quiz participants are also required to take a form at the Samarinda KPUD, attach a photocopy of KTP, one 4 × 6 photo.
“Don’t forget that participants must have a minimum of 30 supporters and must watch via live streaming on YouTube and Facebook KPU Samarinda,” said Najib.
Quiz Registration is still open
Registration for online quiz is still open until 20 November. However, he emphasized that the registration documents should be submitted by November 20, aka the last day of registration.
The next day on November 22, there will be a technical meeting. The online quiz competition was held for two days on November 23-24.
“Various competitions including quiz are targeting young people, millennials. Because they are potential voters. Their population is also large and large. But the level of apathy towards democratic parties also tends to be high, “he said.
He said the number of quiz participants would later determine the system implemented by the Samarinda KPUD. In addition, quiz also tends to lead to the concept of debate, and then the jury is involved. “The names of the jury have not been confirmed, but the jury came from academia, professionals and the mass media,” he said.
