“It’s just a joke bro” doesn’t seem to go that far, as YouTuber Tanner Cook found out the hard way after he was shot while shooting a prank video for his channel.
Cook’s channel, Classified Goons, has over 38,000 subscribers and is full of prank videos, but over the weekend Cook got into a fight that turned very dangerous when one of his targets ended by shooting him.
The YouTuber is alive but has suffered liver and stomach damage. It was not specified what the prank was or how it went so wrong, with Cook only saying “I was doing a simple prank and prank, and this guy didn’t take it very well,” to local news.
The shooter has been charged with maliciously aggravated wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and discharging a firearm into a building, by local police. Cook has been in the intensive care unit for days and is still recovering in hospital as of this writing.
