Square Enix may not be at its best lately, but the company is doing at least a handful of things right. One of them is the release of demos and trial versions of several of its games, and now we have another long-awaited example.
During last night’s Nintendo Direct, the company released a new trailer for Octopath Traveler II, announcing that a demo of the game is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. This allows you play the first three hours of the game, and also to be able to save your save file for the final version of the game, which will arrive on February 24th.
Octopath Traveler II is set centuries after the events of the first title, this time in the land of Solistia, where a new group of eight characters will go on their own adventures and reveal their individual storylines, occasionally encountering each other along the way.
