The XIII Remake got off to a horrible start to 2020, Metacritic calling it the worst Xbox game of the year, prompting publisher Microids to promise to fix the game with the help of French developer Tower Five.

Microids says that Tower Five has “reworked the entire game from the art direction to the AI ​​and added numerous technical improvements”, along with the “highly anticipated online multiplayer for up to 13 players”.

“We really wanted to take the time to fix the game and offer XIII Remake owners a free update that would pay the best possible tribute to the original game we all love. We can’t wait for players to get their hands on this enhanced version of the game and (re)discover the classic adventures of Agent XIII…”
