Xbox Game Pass: Final Fantasy XV and seven other games to leave the catalog at the end of January
While we wait for Microsoft to release the full list of upcoming Xbox Game Pass additions, we’re looking at the eight games that will no longer be available in the catalog at the end of January.
The Xbox Game Pass app announces the departures of Sea Salt (Console and PC), Indivisible (Console and PC), Fishing Sim World Pro Tour (Console and PC), Death’s Gambit (PC), Reigns: Game of Thrones (PC) , Gray (PC), Death Squared (Console) and Final Fantasy XV (Console and PC). As always, remember that you can buy the titles in question before they go by taking advantage of a reduction of up to 20% thanks to your Xbox Game Pass subscription.
Final Fantasy XV will have remained in the catalog for about a year since it landed on February 6, 2020. We can therefore imagine that the other Final Fantasy games will remain on the Xbox Game Pass for a similar period. As a reminder, in addition to Final Fantasy XV, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered and Final Fantasy IX are currently available, while the Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster compilation, the Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age remaster as well as that Final Fantasy XIII trilogy, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII are due in 2021.
The current complete catalog for Xbox Game Pass is available here. Upcoming new releases include The Medium and The Yakuza Remastered Collection, due January 28. Control, already available in the Xbox Game Pass Console and Mobile, will arrive in the PC catalog on January 21.
