Fortnite’s Most Wanted event sees the game’s Battle Royale island overtaken by a group of villains known as the Cold Blooded. As dangerous as their members are, they’ve delivered new weapons, safes, and even a never-before-seen type of chest for players to find. This type of chest is aptly called a Cold-Blooded Chest, and you’ll need to uncover at least five of them to complete one of the event’s final quests. Here’s how to find and open cold-blooded chests in Fortnite and what rewards you’ll get for doing so.
All Cold Blooded Coffer locations in Fortnite Most Wanted
Unlike most chests on the map, Cold Blooded Chests are kept exclusively in all Cold Blooded Vault locations, each found in the middle of Brutal Bastion, Broken Slabs, and Fragment Frenzy. . However, to open these chests, you must have a Cold-Blooded Boss Vault Card in your inventory. If this is done, the keycard can be used on the kiosk to the left of the safe to open it.
As shown below, two Cold-Blooded Chests spawn from the back of each Cold-Blooded Chest, both of which will surround a Legendary rarity chest. Opening just one will reward players with at least one mythic weapon, two shield items, one health item, and 1000 gold. We also recommend using this gold at an Ace’s Exotics or Armory Vending Machine, as these stores allow you to purchase any weapon in the current loot pool.

You can also expect to earn goods after matches from these special chests. While Most Wanted Quests are active, players will earn 1500 Infamy after opening five Cold Blooded Chests. This infamy is then used to progress through event reward tracking, eventually bringing you one step closer to unlocking the limited-time Gold Blooded Ace skin.
