A much-requested feature from Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Resurgence is coming to the battle royale game’s Isle of Ashika very soon, as Raven Software and Infinity Ward confirm additional lobby options for the game, although many believe that it should have happened when Resurgence actually came out.

You can read Call of Duty’s full statement on the Resurgence Team lobbies in Warzone 2 below.

“With Season 02 Reloaded, we will include all Resurgence squad sizes in every weekly playlist for the remainder of the season,” the Call of Duty Twitter account reads. “Stay tuned for the announcement blog, patch notes, and season update later this month. Please note that, as always, the map/playlist rotation mode will continue to be subject to change based on feedback and internal data.”

This means you’ll soon be able to enter Ashika Island in Warzone 2 with all team-sized lobbies in the FPS game instead of being restricted, a feature many have been asking for since the release of Resurgence.

With the release of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded content already revealed, this change to Resurgence squads is late, but welcome. We don’t have a release date for the Season 2 Reloaded patch yet, but we can expect it quite soon, as evidenced by the mention of the announcement blog coming later this month.

So it’s odd that this small but important change to Resurgence wasn’t there at launch, as Raven Software and Infinity Ward didn’t have the time or resources to implement it at launch or wanted to bring it into Warzone. . 2 Season 2, instead announce it now.
