The Valorant patch notes for Act 2 Episode 6 are the gift that keeps on giving, with FPS game update 6.04 introducing new Valorant character Gekko and coveted Oni 2.0 skins. .

Of course, the headliner of patch 6.04 is new Valorant agent Gekko, a Latino fighter hailing from the sunny streets of Los Angeles. Packed with an adorable collection of slime-based creatures, the latest starter to join the fray has already won the hearts of the gaming community.

Valorant Oni Skins 2.0

The other thing that started the hype train is the new Oni 2.0 skins, the sister pack to the classic Japanese-inspired skins that have become synonymous with Valorant.

You’ve probably seen the new Spectral Katana making the rounds on Twitter, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted to copy it. It looks better than the Ruined King’s Sword and has a bit more personality than some of the other swords you can get in the game. And, realistically, it’s a katana. Need I say more?

Valorant Oni 2.0 skins will be available through the in-game store as soon as the update goes live on March 7 and will cost 7100 VP (~$75 / £67.50).
