One of the specifics of Valheim is that you are going to need a lot of materials that are only found in a specific area of the game during your adventure. This is for example the case of the hearts of Surtlings which we are going to talk about in this article.
An extremely important object
Surtling’s hearts are surely one of the most important items at the start of your game in Valheim. In fact, we recently told you about the different metals present in the game, but to build enough to melt these metals into ingots, you will need Surtling hearts.
From then on, you will understand that it is essential to succeed in finding where these famous hearts are hiding before you can really build yourself beautiful weapons and armor. For it, you will first have to go to a black forest biome!
In search of burial chambers
Indeed, if we want to be complete, you can recover Surtling hearts by killing these fiery beings that are in various biomes. like swamps where they are grouped in groups around geysers of fire, or even in the land of ashes.
But the easiest and fastest way to farm Surtling Hearts is to go to a Black Forest and search for burial chambers. They look like small caves made of stone and you will have to go inside.
Inside it is dark, but we do not recommend using the torch as it is better to have both hands free to fight. As you stroll through the burial chamber, you will be able to find Surtling hearts on the floor.
