Bungie today released a new trailer for Tether, the new Darkness subclass of Destiny 2: Eclipse. The trailer focuses on how Guardians use these new abilities, which will help them navigate Neomuna, the newly discovered neon metropolis.
The new Super Tether:
- Streakweaver Wizards: Needle Storm
- Sorcerers conjure a wave of piercing binding missiles through the air. Upon impact with enemies, the missiles explode and recompose into threadlike creatures, which fire in search of nearby targets.
- Titans Berserkers: Blade Fury
- Titans create two interlocking blades on their arms, then swoop across the battlefield using a combination of light and heavy attacks. Light Attacks allow Titans to quickly slash enemies and generate energy for Heavy Attacks, which launch projectiles that suspend and incapacitate enemies on impact.
- Tightrope Hunters: Silk Strike
- These hunters weave a rope with a dart at the end to finish off their enemies. With the light attack, they throw the rope in a direction, dealing bonus damage to enemies hit by the dart tip and causing them to explode when defeated. The heavy attack makes a wide circle to deal area damage.
With Tether, all classes gain new abilities, such as the Grappling Hook, which will allow players to swing through Neomuna and stumble upon the Shadow Legion. Destiny 2: Eclipse It arrives on February 28.
