Last month, Ubisoft revealed that its impressive city builder year 1800 it was finally making its way to consoles in March, after years of being a PC exclusive. After this very welcome announcement, we have another big win: the console version will be completely free in its launch week!
Yes, the team revealed that since the release date of the game, March 16, until March 23, Anno 1800 will be a free trial on Xbox Series X | S. You will have access to the full game for this week, after which the game will cost £34.99 / $39.99.
Progression also continues from the free trial week, so if the free period appeals to you, you won’t have to start all over again after purchasing the full version. Here’s a quick intro of what Anno 1800 will bring to Xbox Series X and S players on March 16:
