The director of Total War: Warhammer III has revealed the secret of the game’s development plans in 2023.
This year GuerraTotal: Warhammer 3 It should receive three extensions. This news was provided by Rich Aldridge of Creative Assembly.
The game director shared this information in a video posted on YouTube. You can watch the video below.
The first DLC of this year is expected in April, which matches the previous update information. Two more will be released in summer and winter. In the meantime, the developers will focus on fixes to improve the gameplay experience and fix bugs and other imperfections in the third Total War: Warhammer.
The game director hasn’t said anything specific about the content. He only expressed his hope that some of the upcoming developments will surprise players, while others will meet their expectations since the launch of the basic version of Warhammer 3.
Fans assume that the first DLC will feature the Chaos Dwarfs, as this very race seems to be the focus of teasers released so far. It should be added that information about this was also found in the game files.

Aldridge also addressed allegations of slow development of the game after its release. This was thought to be due to “changes in working hours”. Specifically, the focus is on fixing the base game and the Immortal Empires mode. The director explains that Creative Assembly simply had no way to work on new content while most of the staff were busy with continuous updates and the highly anticipated campaign tying together the entire Total War trilogy: Warhammer.
Passionate about video games (and others) for years, he completed an MBA in linguistics, defending a thesis on games. He started his adventure with GlobeLiveMedia in 2015, writing in the editorial department, then also covering movies and oh, horror! – technology (also a contributor to the Games Encyclopedia). He started out with platform games, which he still loves (including metroidvania), but he also likes card games (including “analog” games), fighting games, soul games and practically any other kind of game. Don’t ask about the graphics: after a few hours of exposure, you can revel in pixelated game characters reminiscent of the days of the (if not older) Game Boy era.
