If Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer 3 appealed to you but never really caught on, it just might be this weekend. The strategy game is completely free and has a huge discount if you decide to play it.
After Creative Assembly gave all Total War: Warhammer 3 players the Immortal Empires campaign for free, it seemed like it couldn’t get any better; after all, Immortal Empires is probably one of the most ambitious strategic campaigns I’ve ever seen.
But it can, in fact, get better. Because? GOOD, Total War: Warhammer 3 Free on Steam March 9-13meaning you’ll be able to try it out and get an idea of the utter chaos it can cause.
That’s not all, because if you play the game and decide that crossing the fearsome generation of Nurgle as a disciple of Slaanesh is right Also great fun, it’s also 33% off on Steam over the weekend. This brings the price down from $59.99 USD / £49.99 GBP to $40.19 / £33.49.
The discount also applies to all DLC campaigns. Since Champions of Chaos and Ogre Kingdoms are the newer campaigns, they are slightly more expensive at $12.79 / £10.39 and $9.59 / £7.99 respectively.
All Total War: Warhammer I and II campaigns are also 50% off their original price, ranging from $4.99/£3.99 to $9.49/£7.99.
In our Total War: Warhammer III review, we praised not only the game’s single-player campaign, but also the multiplayer campaign, calling it “groundbreaking”. It’s polished, it’s exciting and it’s just plain fun to play. I would recommend diving for the weekend and seeing if it suits you, but be prepared to spend too hours at the head of your legions.
