Netflix and Powerhouse are preparing a brand new animated series played by the famous tomb raider.
Video game adaptations are continuing their way to the flagship streaming platform. The new animated series planned by Netflix will follow the adventures of Lara Croft after the events of the trilogy rebooted by Square Enix. The last episode, released in 2018 and called Shadow of the Tomb Raider, told of his struggle against the Trinitarians and a dark Mayan prophecy, heralding the end of the world.
In charge of this new work we will find Powerhouse, known for his work on the series Castlevania. The media Deadline also tells us that this very first animation project for the adventurer will be written by Tasha Huo (The Witcher : Blood Origin, Red Sonja), who will also be producing with Dmitri M. Johnson (Sonic, le film), the founder and CEO of dj2 Entertainment.
