The first new Titanic: Honor and Glory demo in six years has hit the web. It lets you explore much of the title ship and see what the project looks like after switching to Unreal Engine 5.
A new demonstration of Titanic: Honor and Glory, a Vintage Digital Revival adventure game has been released. The action of the game will take place on the title ship on its maiden (and final) voyage.
The demo, numbered 401, is huge and allows you to explore a considerable part of the Titanic. Its magnitude is best reflected in the fact that the download “weighs” 40 GB.

The ambition of the developers is to faithfully recreate the liner of the same name., not only in the visual, but also in all the mechanical elements. In the full version, the developers also want to offer a so-called Sinking Mode, a mode that will allow you to assume the role of a character while the Titanic sinks.
The previous demo, called Alpha 3, became available six years ago. Unsurprisingly, there have been quite a few changes since then. Writers have moved to Unreal Engine 5 and the visuals have been completely updated..
You can see the progress since the release of the demo above by watching the video provided by the authors:
First, the developers will release the full version of Titanic: Project 401 on Steam (coming soon), and Titanic: Honor and Glory will release later. Currently, the developers have only planned the PC version, but they do not hide that they would also like to release their game on consoles in the long term.
