Most of the times we talk about Pokémon GO is because of the new events or news that Niantic introduces. On the other hand, the mobile game is the protagonist this time for a different reason, since it has been present at the Microsoft Ignite 2021 event, where it has been shown how it would look thanks to HoloLens 2.

Exactly what Microsoft and Niantic have wanted to teach is how we would interact with Pokémon GO if we used these augmented reality glasses, thus making the Pokémon jump into the real world and were walking around us calmly.

In the demo that you have accompanying the news you can see several Pokémon in the wild, but we could also take anyone we want out of the Poké Ball and even feed it with berries from a new menu that this device provides. In addition, we would also have the possibility to challenge another person to a fight.

These are actually features that are already present in the game, but with HoloLens the experience would be even more realistic.

Even so, it has been wanted to emphasize the fact that it is only a demonstration to make clear what these glasses and their hardware are capable of, in order to get an idea of what can be achieved with the step of years. Unfortunately, these are not features that will be available to consumers.
