Successful tactical strategy game war groove will get a sequel. Chucklefish announced Wargroove 2 as a co-development project with Robotality (Halfway, Pathway). The developers have also released the game’s first trailer (available below).

The plot of the second Wargroove will take place three years after the events of the prequel and it seems that the people of Aurania have no peace. There are many night raids, and somewhere in the background cultists are active in search of forbidden relics. Moreover, in the seas there are pirates, who in war groove 2 will be a new playable faction.

The list of novelties (or new factions) does not stop at pirates. Wargroove 2 will offer three interconnected story campaigns, in which we will test, among other things, even more powerful commanders and five new types of units. We can also try our luck in the debut of Conquest mode, which offers a roguelike experience.

Plus, many familiar elements from the original will return in the sequel, including online and local multiplayer and co-op modes (known for the free Double Trouble DLC), map editor, scenario editor, and more. . and, of course, turn-based battles. on land, at sea and in the air. Of course, all of this will be fleshed out from the original.
