The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom art book has been leaked ahead of launch, giving fans their first look at several new elements in the game.

Nearly three months before its release, some The Legend of Zelda fans are getting their hands on the Tears of the Kingdom artbook, which will be released as part of the game’s Collector’s Edition on May 12, a little earlier. Photos of some of the art book pages were shared on Reddit (opens in a new tab), but have since been deleted.

If you don’t want to know anything about Tears of the Kingdom, we suggest you skip the next paragraph, but if you don’t mind learning a bit more about the contents of the artbook, you can keep reading.

Thanks to Nintendo Everything (opens in a new tab), we can still see some of the photos that were shared on Reddit, and they show things like the new creatures Link will encounter on his next adventure, as well as a detailed image of his wingsuit. , new enemies, items and locations too. Overall, the visuals paint a pretty clear picture of the kind of world we’ll be diving into when Tears of the Kingdom launches in a few months.

It’s one of the most concrete things we’ve seen about the game leading up to release. After the last Nintendo Direct, where we got a new trailer for Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, several fans had theories based on the new footage we saw. These theories point to well-known voice actor Matthew Mercer reprising the role of Calamity Ganon and hopefully a playable Zelda in the Breath of the Wild sequel.
