Since the release of The Evil Within 2 in 2017, Tango Gameworks has remained silent on the future of the series. However, a third work may have featured in the studio’s latest production: Hi-Fi RUSH.
Since its surprise release on January 26, Talk about Hi-Fi RUSH never stops. It must be said that the new title from Tango Gameworks has really won over players, who praise the originality and freshness of this unexpected experience, to say the least. The latter is full ofCollectible Easter eggs, some of which directly reference The Evil Withinthe studio’s first iconic license. A license whose return could have been teased by the developers via one of these hidden references.
The Evil Within 3 featured on Hi-Fi RUSH?
Indeed, in one of the cutscenes of the game, Internet users have noted the presence of a plan that is evocative to say the least. As the characters make their way to the office of Kale, the CEO of Vandelay Corporation, they collect an elevator in which there is a screen indicating in particular the number of the floor where they are located. And if we look at this, we can also notice thatbelow the daily weather forecast, a small banner reveals the following news :

Necessarily, it was enough for fans of The Evil Within to see an allusion to the fact that a third opus could be currently in development.. However, it goes without saying that this is by no means an official confirmation as it stands. For the moment, Tango Gameworks has never decided on a possible return of the adventures of Sebastián Castellanos, although the end of The Evil Within 2 clearly hinted that a sequel was possible. The future will tell us what it really is.
