The Elder Scrolls Online is a massive game with plenty of experience for new players and veterans alike. You will be able to explore several large areas, enter dungeons and trials with other players, adventure alone and participate in annual events, all to earn rewards. One of these events is the Explorer Celebration event. Here’s what you’ll get for participating and how you can join the exploration.

What is the Explorers Celebration Event?

With the announcement of The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom, the event celebrates the return of DLC to Morrowind. It’s part of what the development team calls The Return to Morrowind and it’s about exploring Tamriel by collecting gold, resources, and experience.

What you’ll earn in the Explorer’s Celebration event

The Explorer’s Celebration event starts on March 2 and runs until March 7. During this time, players can earn extra experience points, gold, and additional resource nodes collected from around the world. The best part is that you won’t have to stick to Morrowind to collect the bonuses as the event is happening in all ESO zones.

You will gain 100% experience from everything rewarding you with XP. This can include killing enemies, completing quests, crafting items, and interacting with your companions. As a bonus, this stacks with other XP boosts you get from scrolls and party mods.

For those interested in collecting, you’ll get more drops from all collection nodes found on the map. It doesn’t matter if it’s Plants, Minerals, Clothing, Logs, Runestones, or Psijic Portals, you’ll find additional nodes each time you collect a specific material. However, there are a few exceptions, such as fishing and dropping leather from creatures.

The final reward is a 100% increase in all gold earned during the adventure. Gold can be collected by killing enemies, completing quests, opening containers, and collecting loot.
