Despite the many projects underway by the French publisher, the third book of the famous license is not in development.
Almost four years after the release of the last work, a good number of gamers would love to see The Division 3 announced. They may be disappointed…
The Division 3 would not be on the Ubisoft program
Indeed, despite generally very positive reviews from fans and the press, no sequel is currently in the works. A person close to the company would have revealed to our colleagues at Insider Gaming that the developers prefer to focus on the upcoming The Division 2 updates.
For those who would still like to be able to dive back into the universe of the franchise in the months and years to come, We know that two other titles are still in development. On the one hand, multiplayer action and survival The Division: Heartland will soon be released for free on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

On another side, The Division: Resurgence will land on iOS and Android and is a TPS RPG with a new storynew factions, plus plenty of other new content in a redesigned experience specifically for mobiles and tablets.
Likewise, Ubisoft is working on many other projects, so even though The Division 3 is not on the schedule, there will be a lot going on soon. We think in particular of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Skull & Bones, the remake of Splinter Cell or the Star Wars game from the Massive studio.
