Hogwarts Legacy will allow you to craft your first wand at Ollivanders at the start of the game. While they have no effect on gameplay, that doesn’t mean you can’t do everything you can to ensure you have the most amazing Hogwarts and Hogsmeade wand. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to switch wands later in the game, so you’ll have to use whatever skin you originally chose. That’s why we have designs based on the Harry Potter books and movies that we think will ensure your wand looks its best when you start playing the game. Let’s take a look at these designs.

For Draco Malfoy fans, his wand can be crafted using hawthorn as the wood type, unicorn hair as the core, and keeping the length ten inches. Wand style here should be classic style with black color.

Harry Potter’s wand is also the classic style as seen and has a black design as seen in the movies, but is very different from Malfoy’s. Her wand has Phoenix Feather as a core type, Holly as a wood type, and is eleven inches long.

Now, if you need a Hermione Granger inspired wand, that can be done too. Hermione’s wand style should be the smooth spiral style in black with Vine as the wood type, Dragon Heart String as the base type, and a length of ten and three quarter inches.

For Ron Weasley’s wand, you will need to choose the dark brown rod style. The wood should be made of willow with a unicorn hair type core and a length of fourteen inches.

Finally, if you want to emulate the wand of He Who Must Not Be Named, you can do that too. Voldemort’s wand style is the dark gray twisted spiral style with Phoenix Feather as the base type, Yew as the wood type, and the length is thirteen and a half inches.
