Bandai Namco is the latest company to reveal its financial results for the recent period and they revealed that the Tekken 8 release date is currently set for the next fiscal year 2023-2024. The next fiscal year will be between April 2023 and the end of March 2024, which means the game will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC before April 2024.
More Tekken games are planned for the future
In the next fiscal year, “new titles in the Tekken series” are slated for release, although no further details were given on what those games might be. Having been revealed during a PlayStation State of Play, Tekken 8 is a very likely candidate for release between April 2023 and March 2024, although it doesn’t yet have an official release date window.
There is also an unnamed joint venture with FromSoftware, which has been bundled separately from their Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon game, which is currently slated for release in 2023. Many gamers expect this to be of a major extension of Elden Ring.
Finally, there will be games developed by foreign studios. These include Limbic Entertainment’s Park Beyond and other games in Supermassive Games’ The Dark Pictures anthology, including Directive 8020. Of course, there’s plenty of time for more surprises, too.
