Team17, both publisher and developer, relies on Golf With Your Friends. The British firm is offering the rights to the multiplayer mini-golf game for a total of 13.5 million euros and intends to “create additional opportunities to extend its life cycle”.
Team17 therefore intends to produce additional new content for Golf With Your Friends, but also to look into ideas for a potential sequel. Officially released in May 2020 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch, the title developed by the British studio Blacklight Interactive brings together up to twelve players online or locally “hotseat” (each in turn) for mini-golf games frenzied on themed trails. It is available for about fifteen euros, knowing that it is also present in the catalog of Xbox Game Pass.
