Within the framework of Tokyo Game Show, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka —’seiyū ‘who plays Kirito in Sword Art Online and Law in Tales of Arise – announced that both franchises will have a collaboration. This will start with an SAO DLC for Tales of Arise . However, Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris – the newest game in the franchise based on Reki Kawahara’s work – will also receive a DLC based on Tales of Arise .

When will the Sword Art Online (SAO) DLC for Tales of Arise be available ?
The SAO DLC for Tales of Arise will be available from October 7.
What will it contain?
Those who get hold of the Sword Art Online (SAO) DLC for Tales of Arise will unlock a boss battle against Kirito and Asuna. If they win the fight, players will get a pair of weapons – Night Sky Sword and Blue Rose Sword, both carried by Kirito in Sword Art Online: Alicization – and a Mystical Art in which Alphen and the Sword pair Art Online join forces. As if that wasn’t enough, the DLC also contains costumes for Alphen (Kirito), Shionne (Asuna), and Law (Elite Disciple).
