Clash Quest, developed by Supercell Helsinki is a turn-based tactical adventure game. You will have to face enemies whose defense positions are predetermined, while you place your troops at the start of the game. But over the course of the game, you will have the choice of attacking with this or that unit, or – and this is what the developers seemed to advise – you can create attack combinations of several different units. The developers of Supercell specify that the game will start in a fairly simple way, before revealing its true depth, as we advance, by traversing the archipelago of Clash Quest.

Clash Mini, developed by the recently launched studio Supercell Shanghai, is described as a virtual board game, in which you will compete against other players. You will have to form teams of miniatures (hence “Clash Mini”), place them at the start of the game and … it’s over. Once the game has started, your miniatures will attack on their own. This system can recall auto-chess.

Clash Heroes, also developed by Supercell Shanghai, looks very different. In addition to running on Unreal Engine, it does not appear to be a strategy game, but a real-time action-RPG playable in both solo and co-op. You will need to form a team of heroes – as the name suggests – with various abilities, in order to advance in the adventure. The more advanced parts will offer gameplay customization (this aspect is not detailed for the moment).

All three games are still in early stages of development, and we know that Supercell isn’t afraid to nip a project in the bud if its development doesn’t suit him, so there’s no guarantee that all three will ever come out well. But Supercell shows how much the studio has grown, with two games developed by their new Chinese studio, one by the Helsinki studio, and again big teams focused only on Clash Royale and Clash of Clans.
