Decidedly, R films have been on the rise in recent weeks! After a record for an R movie made by the Mortal Kombat trailer on February 18, it’s the turn of the Suicide Squad movie trailer to smash the scores.

Just a few days ago, the Mortal Kombat movie set a whole new record! Indeed, its trailer was the most watched of the R-rated films (films designed for a mature audience) in just one week with a total of 116 million views, thus surpassing the previous records obtained by the film Logan or even Deadpool 2. But there you go! This record did not last very long since The Suicide Squad, the reboot of David Ayer’s feature film, has just taken the lead with its trailer having garnered more than 151.1 million views in its first week.
