After more than a month since Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was rumored to be delayed, it’s official, and the wait will be even longer than previously thought: Warner Brothers announced today today that its premiere is now scheduled for February 2, 2024.
“We have made the difficult but necessary decision to take the time to work towards making the game the best quality experience for gamers,” WBIE announced on Twitter. Thank you to our amazing community for your continued support, patience and understanding. There’s a lot more to share in the coming months and we look forward to seeing you in Metropolis next year.”

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was received quite coldly by the public when its gameplay was revealed during State of Play last February. A frenetic fight, with a lot of verticality and movement, and quite successful cinematographic scenes. But it seems that wasn’t enough to leave a good impression on the audience. Moreover, since it is a “games as a service”, it was also received with a lot of suspicion by the fans.
It doesn’t look like this delay will change the core of the game, but hopefully it leaves us with a better feeling the next time we see it.
