Square Enix reviews the characteristics of the action RPG, its story, new enemies and the class system of this game developed by Team Ninja.
Square Enix and Team Ninja have shown the final trailer for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin and its new images. The action-RPG inspired by the world of Final Fantasy introduces new characters like Kraken and Lich, three new Advanced Jobs and more, as well as a gameplay-focused video that walks through combat and customization features.

The Kraken, the demon of Water, uses its long tentacles to attack fiercely and quickly. It is capable of stealing power-ups and uses Water element attacks that take advantage of the environment. The other enemy shown today is the Lich, the Earth demon , who usually attacks with magic or by causing altered states. He is a dangerous adversary capable of summoning skeletons and inflicting Curse, a status that lowers the Rupture gauge cap.

The developers also remind us that pieces of equipment will be able to be reformed. Pieces will appear as you defeat enemies or open chests you find. The same piece of gear can have different vocation boosters or special effects, and Square Enix recommends undertaking the same quest multiple times for higher rarity gear.

You can switch between two jobs instantly during fights . There are all sorts of combat styles depending on the combination of jobs you’ve chosen, and skilled jobs use even more specialized actions; many of them allow you to wield multiple weapons.

The three detailed jobs are Red Wizard, Berserker, and Samurai . Red Wizards are skilled in both White Magic and Black Magic, enabling them to attack as well as support. Red mages can cast Magic Chain to overwhelm the enemy dealing damage while lowering their magic resist. Berserkers attack without hesitation with axes and greatswords, and can use the Madness skill. Under its effect, your offensive power is greatly increased, but this carries some risk, since you cannot use potions.

Finally the Samurai is the right job to recover MP . Samurai can use the Clarity skill, which under its effect, MPs restored with attacks are greatly increased and are also recovered with an exact guard. Harness the power of the MPs you’ve accumulated by dishing out a flurry of blows with combo skills.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin goes on sale on March 18 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
