A few months after its release, the nature of the content present in Starfield becomes clearer since the Bethesda title received its classification from the Australian government.
We learned this last week, after Bethesda delayed it for several months, Starfield will finally land on Xbox and PC from the start of the 2023 school year. However, before that, the studio gives us an appointment in June for a new conference dedicated to the game, which will be broadcast just after the Xbox Games Showcase at E3. But until we can find out more about him, the Australian classification body gives us more information about possible sensitive content from the next game from the creators of Fallout.
Ban on Starfield for under 18s?
Indeed, as it approaches its release, Starfield recently received its classification from the Australian Government. In order to assess the nature of the different contents that a game offers, the latter allows organizations to determine who will be the target audience of said experience. And in the case of Bethesda’s upcoming title, there may well be a ban for under 18s due to heavy drug use during the adventure. Besides, strong violence must be on the program.
On another side, the game will obviously give nudity only a minor placewhose impact is judged ” very light “when there should just be no sex scene. Besides, the use of obscene language should be relatively moderate, as well as the nature of the issues addressed by the scenario. In short, in other words, Starfield seems set to follow in the footsteps of games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout, which also don’t stop at the use of various and varied drugs.
As a reminder, Starfield will arrive on September 6, 2023 exclusively on Xbox Series X | S and PC (not Xbox One, as the Australian site indicates).
