The first gameplay footage from the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has hit the web. It’s a lot of combat and a bit of exploration in one video.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor recently suffered a six-week delay, but fans should have no reason to complain. The first gameplay video, nine minutes long, has just dropped on the web. – was made available on the IGN channel on YouTube. Check it out below.
The footage is largely a montage of battles., which Cal Kestis, accompanied by BD-1, fights on the planet Koboh. In it, the protagonist searches for something that will help him repair his ship, the Mantis. Cal’s opponents are wild creatures and droids. The combat resembles what we know from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order: there are quick finishers, throwing objects or swords, and using the Force.
We’ve also seen what the location map looks like, but we don’t see Cal’s available abilities. In addition to the combat itself, the gameplay includes a few “parkour” hits. (running or climbing walls). The game will also feature familiar collectibles from the previous installment, namely item crates and character keepsakes.
The developers recently assured that the game is in the final stages of work. Respawn Entertainment is now focused on squashing bugs, so the release can no longer be postponed. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor It will debut April 28 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles and PCs.
