The official FFVII Remake Twitter account shared more details about Yuffie’s redesign of episode intermission. Square Enix has updated Yuffie’s original design to incorporate more realistic details, while retaining her modern ninja design and the Japanese flair of her original design. The company shared that while the rest of the fabric physics on its model work in real time, Yuffie’s leggings adjust individually so they don’t fall off.
While updating various parts of the original design, we added realistic details that make you feel the image of ninja and Japanese!

Although its redesign has remained very close to the original, some details have been changed or tweaked to bring it to life in a more modern setting. In particular, his right arm sports a gauntlet that looks a lot like a piece of Japanese armor, compared to his original design which involved wearing a gauntlet with metal protections.

Square Enix recently shared more details about Yuffie’s moogle cape, which the developers recreated in real life and then scanned to model and add to the game.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is available immediately for PS4, PS5 and PC. The PS5 and PC versions of the game are the FFVII Remake Intergrado version, including Episode Intermission, a side story to the events of the main game featuring Yuffie as the main character.
