Ever since the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse posters and trailers began, fans have been a bit bummed that Spider-Man Noir (Nicolas Cage) doesn’t appear to be in the movie, but there may – being one reason why the character isn’t heavily involved in this animated sequel.
And it is that Variety has reported that Spider-Man Noir will have its own live-action series, produced by Amazon for Prime Video and MGM +.
The report notes that this series will follow an older, grizzled version of the character and be set in 1930s New York City, in his own universe.
As for those connected to the project, Oren Uziel (The Lost City) will be in charge of writing and executive producing, and that Phil Lord and Christopher Miller of Spider-Verse will be in charge of executive production, as will the boss. from Sony. , Amy Pascal.
