Expectations were very high for the next project of Solid as a rock after the studio gave us gems like Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight, it was therefore almost inevitable that the official unveiling of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League would leave many disappointed. Those early months of 2023 didn’t really help, as the leaked screenshot showing a battle pass and multiple currencies sparked a chain of disappointed protests that only grew after the game’s presentation and reiteration that the game will still require an online connection. That’s likely one of the reasons for Warner Bros.’ latest move. Discovery.
Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, Jez Corden of Windows Central as a server, we have been informed by very reliable sources that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been postponed from May 26 to a date yet to be determined of this fall. It is important to note that this extra time will not be used to change anything notable in terms of gameplay or systems, but simply to polish what is already there.
Schreier only claims the game has been pushed back to later this year, while Corden claims it’s now scheduled for the fourth quarter. Something interesting because last week there were rumors that pointed to August or September but maybe Starfield’s recently announced release date caused some changes so that what looks and feels like a another Marvel’s Avengers and Gotham Knights move away from the highly anticipated Bethesda game. We hope to have an official confirmation in this regard throughout the day.
