After you finally collect all the relics from the Vampire Survivors main stage, you’ll gain access to the Eudaimonia machine, where you’ll be asked if your game was “too easy” or “too hard”. Specifically, the director will ask the question, “Did you struggle or did you walk with ease?” So far most of the gameplay experience has been intense but relaxed auto combat with monsters. Therefore, asking such a direct question may make some people feel like they might make the wrong choice if the “wrong” answer is chosen.

Fortunately, there are no wrong answers during the dialogue sequence with the director in the Eudaimonia machine. However, if you choose “Too Easy”, you will receive the Mirror of Grace, a relic that permanently unlocks Inverted Mode for all stages of Vampire Survivors. This mode changes the map layout by one stage while making some changes to combat mechanics and enemies.

On the other hand, if you choose to answer “Too Hard” when questioned by the director in Vampire Survivors, you will receive the Seventh Trumpet. This relic permanently grants Endless Mode at all stages. Unsurprisingly, enabling this mode removes the one stage time restriction, causing The Reaper or Death to never appear.

If you’re curious whether the Eudaimonia machine will become accessible again after choosing “Too Easy” or “Too Hard”, don’t worry. In our case, we chose “Too Easy”, which gave us the mirror for Reverse mode. To re-enter the Eudaimonia M. stage, we started a race with Inverse active, paused the game, and returned to the main menu. The Eudaimonia machine reappeared on the Stage Selection screen, allowing us to see the director again.

This time, the director said, “You can speak once again…again you will receive.” But only once,” after which we receive the Seventh Trumpet. Likewise, if you choose “Too hard”, play any stage in endless mode and immediately quit the race. Go back to stage selection and enter the Eudaimonia Machine again to receive Gracia’s Mirror in Vampire Survivors.
