The developer of Road to Vostok, the so-called “Finnish STALKER”, has published the sixth episode of its development diary, where we can see new images of the game. A second version of the demo of the game is on the way .
A new installment of the dev diary for post-apocalyptic survival FPS Road to Vostok has recently appeared. If you’re waiting for this so-called “Finnish STALKER” to come out, you might find the material interesting: freebies new gameplay snippets and mechanics. Perhaps the most interesting moment in the video is the night shoot, in which the player sees the world through night vision goggles (starting at 6:30).
In addition to the aforementioned Night Battle, the creators of Road to Vostok compared various in-game graphics to their real-world counterparts in the video, demonstrating new locations. A significant part of the agenda is also occupied by a presentation of the operation of various weapons and Patrol helicopters controlled by artificial intelligence. The latter “are part of the border security and as soon as they detect an intruder, they transmit their position to all the guards nearby”.
At press time, the development team mentioned that plan to release a second version of the public demo of Vostok Road in the next month. The update is expected to introduce over 200 new weapon sounds, more gear, and bug fixes, among other things. Since the update isn’t part of the previously released roadmap for the game, the developer didn’t want to reveal any more details, but as soon as it’s ready, they’ll let you know.
It is worth mentioning that the release of the second Road to Vostok demo is expected to take place in the third quarter of this year. Some time later, early access to the game will begin. For the moment In Steam you can play the first demo version Game.
