Some users have reported performance loss issues to Samsung with their 990 Pro SSDs, and the company attributes these issues to the current firmware, but countermeasures are already underway.
In a new firmware update, Samsung promises to fix “those anomalies” that were causing the Pro 990 SSDs to rapidly decline in “health” its performance or speed, but now at least users who noticed it have already a response from Samsung, as they have identified the problem and have a promise from Samsung to fix it with this new firmware update.
