After Nintendo and Microsoft showed off much of what they have in store for 2023, Sony must act soon if it isn’t to be left behind, and well-known industry insider and journalist Jeff Grubb reported that a new State of Play event is “coming soon.”

According to Grubb, a new inventory could arrive next March, if not sooner. But apparently fans shouldn’t get their hopes up too high, as this inventory is going to be quite a “low-key” affair.

Sony, on the other hand, would save its biggest reveals until its big showcase, which will be held in June.

Still, after Nintendo and Xbox showed off so many games to increase the hype for gamers, it looks like Sony has some catching up to do in terms of building hopes for its 2023.
