Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released today, and while 2019’s sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is garnering critical acclaim (and EA didn’t want finished single-player stories!), the fact that Respawn has put its action Star Wars games front and center has left another great franchise in the background.
Titanfall 3 is a game people have been asking for for years, and Respawn CEO Vince Zampella just dashed many fans’ hopes that it’s coming soon. Speaking to Barron’s (via GamingBolt), he said: “It has to be the most appropriate thing. It’s a franchise that’s very popular with the fans and also with us. If it’s not the right time, the right idea, it doesn’t make sense.”
There were rumors that a Titanfall single-player game was in the works, but earlier this year it appears EA canceled the project. Unfortunately, it looks like there’s still time for these fans to recover from their gigantic locks.
