Many who have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription have surely taken the opportunity to do an exercise in memory (and nostalgia) and get closer to some of the available NES and SNES titles that are included with the service. Plus, those who’ve gone further and purchased the Nintendo Switch Online+ expansion pack have classic games from the Mega Drive and Nintendo 64 at their disposal, including the recently added GoldenEye 007.
And it seems that the path of emulating Nintendo’s retro consoles does not end there, since tonight in the Nintendo Direct the arrival of the Game Boy and Game Boy Color consoles was announced. In today’s presentation, many great titles were presented to open the platform’s catalog in the subscription service, among them Tetris, Links Awakening, Game & Watch, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, Metroid 2, Wario Land 3, Kirby’s dreamland.
Game Boy Advance, for its part, is also coming to Nintendo Switch Online in Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. And icing on the cake, these new services will be available at the end of the presentation!
