Fans of id Software and Bethesda are looking forward to QuakeCon 2022, which will take place August 18-20. The companies are preparing several surprises for this year’s edition, so they have already shared the calendar of activities that they will offer to the players.

Long-awaited titles like Redfall and other already available games have been confirmed to make an appearance at QuakeCon 2022. However, there will also be a significant absence. The good news is that the event will be full of announcements, charity streams, and competitions for esports lovers.

What games will we see at QuakeCon 2022?

Through a statement, the companies confirmed that QuakeCon 2022 will kick off with a pre-show hosted by id Software’s Marty Stratton. There will also be a welcome message and various broadcasts focused on various titles will take place afterwards.

One of the main stars will be Redfall, a title that was delayed to 2023. There is bad news for players who want to know more about Starfield, because the space title does not appear in the programming, so it will be the great absentee.

Instead there will be information on The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Quake. At least a couple of announcements are expected early in the event. Below you can see an image with all the planned presentations.

QuakeCon 2022 will feature esports and charity streams

As you can see, QuakeCon 2022 will feature other eye-catching activities, like PC build guides and various charity streams. Funds will be raised during the event to go to various non-profit organizations including the American Civil Liberties Union, Dallas Pets Alive and FOUR PAWS.

The icing on the cake will be the 2022 Quake Pro League World Championship, which will be broadcast from Romania as well from August 18-20. As usual, at LEVEL UP we will have full coverage of the most important announcements.
