PlayStation shared an official PSVR 2 unboxing video showing what’s included in the retail box. A number of accessories and cables come with the headphones, though some expected inclusions are missing, like a carrying case or cleaning cloth. Lasting just over nine minutes, the PSVR 2 unboxing video offers a comprehensive look.

The PSVR 2 box contains:
- PSVR 2 headset with attached USB-C cable.
- From the controllers.
- USB-C to USB-A cable.
- Wired headphones.
Those hoping for a case to be included in the box will be disappointed. The above components are all included. Any additional accessories will need to be purchased separately.
The standard version of PSVR 2 also does not come with any games included. However, there is a bundle that includes Horizon Call of the Mountain, one of the biggest games to hit the platform at launch, and one that recently went “gold”.
If the launch lineup didn’t wow you, there are apparently over 100 PSVR 2 games currently in development, so maybe one of them will catch up to you.
For those biding their time and waiting for PSVR 2 reviews, the thoughts and opinions of critics are still under embargo. Expect to see them in preparation for launch on February 22.
