As we reported a few days ago, Polestar has officially lifted the curtain on its next electric vehicle. Known as the Polestar 4, this car is an SUV designed to fall between the Polestar 2 and 3 in price and size, and will be the fastest Polestar yet.
The car will have a maximum power of 544 hp, allowing it to reach 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, as well as two variants, a single-engine version and a twin-engine version. It will be equipped with a 102 kWh battery designed to offer a range of 560 km.
In terms of internal tech, the Polestar 4’s infotainment suite will be powered by Android’s automotive operating system and Snapdragon Cockpit platform. Google Assistant, Maps and Play will also be supported, as will a Harmon Kardon audio suite that spans 12 speakers around the car. Apple CarPlay will also be available.
However, one of the weirdest parts of the car is the fact that it doesn’t actually have a rear window, as Polestar has introduced a “new type of immersive experience for rear occupants” which sees the glass roof extended beyond the heads of the rear occupants.

As for the launch date of the Polestar 4, the car is expected to first launch in China in November 2023, with a full-scale launch scheduled for early 2024.
