The new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera Raid is here, and it’s making this generation famous for bugs and glitches out of favor.
When the new Tera Raid was released, players could still join the event even if they hadn’t downloaded the 1.2.0 update. For anyone who appeared in an earlier build, you wouldn’t see the new Legendaries Walking Wake and Iron Leaves; instead, there would only be one egg. You could grab the egg, but grabbing the egg would prevent you from catching the new legendaries.

This is all in the past as the devs apparently have a workaround: you can no longer access the raid if you don’t update, according to anecdotal player reports. But to all the players who caught the glitched egg, well… now you’re stuck with a glitched egg. It’s a bad egg (opens in a new tab), in proper fandom lingo: they’ve been a known bug in Pokemon for years, and since they can never be hatched or released, they just take space in inventory.
Until this issue is resolved, we recommend all users to download version 1.2.0 before contesting the current Tera Raid event to avoid being affected by this bug.February 28, 2023

The official Pokemon Twitter states: “We are aware of an issue in the v1.2.0 patch for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet where players catching a Pokemon Egg during the current Tera Raid event will prevent those players from catching Walking Wake or Iron.” Leaves. THANKS. for your patience while we work on a fix.” It’s unclear what that fix will be, but hopefully it will involve replacing those Bad Eggs with Good Pokemon.
The new update too Removed open world characters to fix crashes..
