Impacto Genshin players who ended up taking Dehya out of the gacha report several issues with his Elemental Burst. Namely that auto attacks do not properly target enemies and they jump during Leonine Bite. (Thanks, CrowLikesShiny and Ok_Television_2780 on Reddit!)
Targeting issues with Leonine Bite prevent Dehya from hitting enemies in Impacto Genshin. For example, it won’t always target opponents’ applicable parts or overpower them if there’s a group of them. One of the best examples is Azdaha’s tail. This weekly boss will use two different items during the fight. If Cryo or Electro is one, then it will burrow underground and only its tail will appear for players to attack. However, while other characters’ Elemental Bursts recognize the tail as something to aim for, such as Itto’s Royal Descent: Behold Evil Itto!, Dehya does not.
Here’s CrowLikesShiny’s video showing Dehya’s Elemental Blast during Azdaha’s Electro phase.
As for the jump canceling its burst, I was able to independently verify that during Dehya’s free in-game trial. If someone makes the character jump while doing so, the attack ends.
Dehya is the latest five-star character to join the game. She is a Pyro Claymore user who originally appeared during the Sumeru storyline. Upon release, HoYoVerse also added the first part of its character questline from the Mantichora chapter, Lionsblood Quest.
The last time this sort of thing happened with a new character at launch was with Zhongli. After player protests, HoYoVerse brought him a number of benefits.
Impacto Genshin is available for PS4, PS5, PC and mobile, and the Dehya banner will be available until March 21, 2023.
