The PC version of Wild Hearts, an action RPG developed by Omega Force and inspired by the Monster Hunter series, was released yesterday. A few hours ago, the game also reached the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5 consoles. Unfortunately, the launch cannot be called a complete success.
“A cheap Monster Hunter rip-off. Visually and mechanically, the game stopped in the PS3 era. The optimization is abysmal – on a 3080ti with i7 12700kf the game had massive fps drops. If you want to buy a good game, buy Monster Hunter. The only thing the game can hold is the soundtrack. All in all, I really don’t recommend it.”
Possible way to improve performance on PC.
Many gamers are reporting that changing the audio settings menu from stereo, which is selected by default, to 5.1/7.1, for some strange reason, dramatically reduces clipping. It is worth checking if this method will work for you if you have this kind of problem.
The developers are aware of the game’s issues and they are working on an update, which is set to debut next week. The patch will improve performance and remove some of the issues.. Other plans include fixing bugs that cause the game to crash on some PS5 consoles.
It should be added that Wild Hearts received a warmer reception from industry media. On Metacritic, the PS5 version has an average rating of 80%. In the case of the PC version, it is 78% and the Xbox Series X/S edition has a score of 77%.
