Even though it’s been open for a few weeks now, there’s still time to join the alpha testnet for Nekoverse and earn rewards before they go live on the mainnet! This cat-themed turn-based strategy game offers many different ways to play and win!
The last playtest for Nekoverse was released on February 1, 2023. This is the last testnet release before Nekoverse is ready to go to the mainnet. This trial version can be downloaded by everyone and includes both Android and iOS versions. But, they only give players access to this test in batches of 250. The first batches already have access. I’m not sure about your current status because none of your Discord links seem to be working!
The team has three main goals they want feedback on: gameplay experience, game economics, and game design.
But it is not just a quality assurance free trial that it provides. There will also be a prize pool of 5 million ASG tokens for testnet participants! The team will take a snapshot of the leaderboard for each Fatal Tower and World Boss event.
Fatal Tower is a PvP game mode open to everyone two days a week. The top 200 players in each Fatal Tower event will receive rewards. World Boss is a community effort to defeat a World Boss. Players need tickets to join this fight, which are obtained through community events. Rewards for defeating world bosses are distributed based on the amount of damage dealt.
Token rewards will be sent after mainnet launch. Anything obtained during this playtest are testnet tokens/items only and will not be transferred to the mainnet.
What is Nekoverse?
Nekoverse is a turn-based strategy game that runs on the Solana blockchain. Player avatars in the game are Nekos, cute 3D cat-like creatures with rounded bodies. Players battle one or more Nekos in different game modes. Nekos can level up and equip gear, increasing their stats. Nekoverse will also feature resource exploration and farming for those who need a break from PvP battles.
Nekoverse seeks to create a player-driven economic cycle built around resource gathering and crafting. Players gather materials from their adventures and battles, then use those materials to craft items. Do you then equip the items for more challenging adventures and greater rewards? Or sell the crafted items to other players and let them go on adventures?

Anima Spirit Gems (ASG) functions as the primary in-game token used for almost all cost-in-game activities. The Nekoverse (NVS) token is used for staking and governance.
Nekoverse will offer a Neko breeding function in the future, as well as guilds and random land/buildings. They also created a mini-economy within their Discord with rewards and events for their community.
